Last week, on Thursday night, our son, Daan passed away. 

In March 2018, Daan was diagnosed with MLD (Metachromatic Leukodystrophy). In the following years, Daan had to give up all his physical functions. Despite that, he enjoyed life and faced everything bravely with a big smile.

In the past few weeks, it became clear that Daan was tired. His smile faded and the days became difficult for him.
Daan peacefully fell asleep, and on Friday, April 5th, he passed away safely in to the arms of Jesus.
